We make hand made Lampshades for all of our lamps. Crafting handmade lampshades is an important technique since there is no such thing as "antique lampshades." Lampshades start drying out and cracking well before the antique lamp base shows any damage or sign of wear. Lampshades need to be replaced in order to maintain the quality of the antique lamp as it gets older.

Most of the antique lamps we sell require new lampshades since many are 100 years or more old. We take special pride in reproducing lampshades that represent the original time and fabric of the piece you purchase.

We make lampshades from a host of quality products including fortuny fabrics, parchment and silks used for trim. When you buy an antique lamp from us, you always get a quality hand made lampshade from our store to go with it. Lampshades are always sold seperate and can be mixed and matched.
